The World Birding Center on South Padre Island is now open.
This complex features a 4800-foot boardwalk and a five-story birding tower. From these, visitors get a clear view over the 50 acres of the beautiful, gulf-side natural habitat and the plethora of birds that fly there from across the gulf.
The World Birding Center also provides an enhanced learning experience. Activites include a hands-on, educational exhibit and an auditorium for educational films.
